What we all have been waiting for has finally come to fruition!! The much anticipated FIRST webisode of Captain Canuck has premiered at Silver Snail on (and this is very fitting) Canada Day. Many of the cast and creators plus fan were on hand to celebrate this amazing project, which was funded through an Indiegogo campaign. Unfortunately I was unable to be there and enjoy first hand the thrill and excitement of this well loved project. Click the link to below to view the FIRST webisode
Captain Canuck Webisode 1 - Happy Canada Day
By all accounts though, I say it was very much a successful campaign! The episode is fast paced and action-packed! I am very much looking forward to the second installment. But I have to say one of my favorite things (other than Kris Holden-Reid voicing the Captain), was the end credits, with the names of all the people who helped bring Captain Canuck to life by contributing to the Indiegogo campaign. Its very obvious how near and dear this project was and is to the fans of Captain Canuck and the cast and crew who breathed life into these characters. And its an awesome feeling to know we are loved back!
Keep Fighting the Good Fight

This weekend at Toronto Comicon 2013, I had the pleasure of meeting Kris Holden-Reid and Paul Amos, voices of the new upcoming web series Captain Canuck (both actors on the TV series Lost Girl). Based on the fictional Canadian comic book superhero created by cartoonist Ron Leishman and artist/writer Richard Comely. The original Captain Canuck first appeared in Captain Canuck #1, July 1975.
