This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of heading on down to Vaughan (Ontario, Canada) for it's annual "
Octoyberfest", that's right, Oc-toy-ber...see what they did there. Despite it's small size it felt good! No big ass lines, giant crowds, it all seemed...right. A con with virtually no downside. THEY EVEN HAD A MARIO KART TOURNAMENT! (which I placed second in...stupid Rainbow Road) AND LOTS OF PRIZE RAFFLE BENEFITING KERRY'S PLACE AUTISM
SERVICES, because that's a good thing for everyone to participate in!
There was lots of good stuff, ranging from Barbie to Xenomorphs...literally your entire childhood under one roof (plus the most amazing toys from the 60s, 70s and 80s) and lots of vendors there to showcase their own personal toy creations, such as
