For those of who you read the blog know that Dylan and I LOVE DEXTER. We even did a 20 minute review of Dexter on our YouTube channel GeekCircusBlog a couple of months ago and gushed about our deep love for the character. Dylans Top 5 Fictional Companies.

Ever since the concept of fiction, people have made entire worlds for their stories, and what does every non-existent world need? An economy! And does every economy need? CORPORATIONS!!!!  

And of course, most the time these companies are spearheaded by the bad guys, BUT THAT'S NOT ALWAYS TRUE. As you'll find out a few of these companies are pretty good. But most are bad...very bad, you could say evil.


NUMBER 5

Cyberdyne Systems

 Cyberdyne, they make Terminators...well actually they made Skynet. Which made the Terminators, that got sent back in time, and were subsequently reverse-engineered by Cyberdyne, to make Skynet....IT'S A BIG CIRCLE!!!!! A big circle of nuclear bombs and killer robots! And in the end, isn't that what cooperations are all about?

NUMBER 4

Aperture Laboratories (you know, the Portal people)

 In 1947, Cave Johnson founded Aperture Fixtures, and made his billions selling shower curtains to all branches of the US Military (except the Navy). This allowed him to openly pursue the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device until his death do to moon rock poisoning. Leaving the company to continue working on it's projects. But after espionage is suspected the development of one it's one of greatest devices...GLaDOS, who almost immediately gains self-awareness and floods Aperture with neuro-toxic gas, before being fitted with the Morality Core, and thus begins the era of testing, in order to beat their competitors. However those same competitors tragically brought on an alien invasion. But all is well as the legendary Portal Gun is completed. And well, you know the story from here.

NUMBER 3

Umbrella Corporation

 To be honest, I really don't like Umbrella, they sold weapons to everyone, then that same stuff made horrid monster. I don't like Umbrella for what it has done, I like their singled minded devotion to that logo. I mean they got it EVERYWHERE! On pens, the rotors of helicopters (and the whole helicopter) and even on their buildings. Just to make it obvious that Umbrella owns something, they just slap on their logo to just about every surface. And man, those employees, I mean the world is effectively over, and you still got the I.T guys, the scientists, and yes, even the henchmen. I have never seen more loyal henchmen ever, I mean some guys buddy is getting eaten by zombies, and he's still trying to kill the protagonist, the man himself could be being eaten alive still trying to achieve his mission. I mean, are they clones, robots, or are they just that loyal to the company. Like honestly, what is the application process, are there benefits? Do I get free life insurance? I dunno people, but they got the cool outfits, and awesome logo to back up the fact that Umbrella is a force to be reckoned with.

NUMBER 2

"Building Better Worlds"

 HA HA, My ass their building better worlds. Typically when I think of a "big bad evil company" I think of these guys. "The Company" as it's sometimes called has shown a willingness to send it's own into the literal "dead end" of space, and oh ya, they have a fixation on trying to capture a living specimen of Sci-Fi's deadliest; the Xenomorph, you know all black, climbs walls, ACID FOR BLOOD, and they want people to catch these things! Anyways, Weyland-Yutani are indeed aware of their...evil, and so are their employees. This company is literally evil to the core, down to the IT guy, and they're not shy about pulling the tigger on their own as well, talk about no job security. But fear not fellow space goers, by the time Alien 4 came out, this big bad mean money machine met it's match and was bought out....by a company infinitely more sinister...Wal-Mart. Well geez, watcha you gonna do.

NUMBER 1

We make your life. Period.

Alright let's make one thing clear...This is not a of my favorite companies, cause if that were the case, HYPERION WOULD BE MY LEAST FAVORITE! Hyperion as you know is a company from the Borderlands series, and in the sequel are the main antagonists, They also made Claptrap, which is a sin all by itself. Now it's not really the company that puts it in the top, it's more so how it is portrayed, it is run by Handsome Jack, who is one of the best villains I've seen in a game. The company it's self is so stereotyped to the point where is seems to be a legitimate organization, it blatantly came to Pandora out of greed, killed much of the population out of greed, performed horrible tests on the surviving population, and tried to "civilize" one of the most horrible places ever conceived by developers, and OH YA, tried to kill you in the first 2 minutes of the game! It's a company that puts itself first, and everything else second. And I can respect that...But I have to curse it every time I remember what it did to poor Bloodwing....   

Super Sunday Sweater Selection...on Monday 15/07/2013

A thousand apologies for the extreme lateness, BUT here we are!

So let's get started...and it's hot out, but that doesn't mean you can't look as cool as a...as a..really cool....person.

Once upon a time, there was a show, where Bruce Wayne was old, and had a cane, he also had a really cool dog. That show was Batman Beyond...Future Batman, WITHOUT A CAPE, It was pretty cool, and I can't wait to watch it again, if you are ever on Superhero Stuff check it out.

NA NA NA NANANANANANA NA, NIGHTWING! No? Whatever...Ever since Neil Patrick Harris played Nightwing, and got it, well, spot on, I kinda liked Nightwing, NO MORE IS THIS A YOUNG BOY IN TIGHTS FIGHTING CRIME! BUT A GROWN MAN IN TIGHTS FIGHTING CRIME! Gotta love commitment to your craft. Get this bad boy from Superhero Stuff.

And here it is, the moment you've all possibly been waiting for, BATMAN!!!! With this shirt you can be the human Bat-Signal! just like put the hood on and stand against a blackened wall and BAM! Bat-Signals everywhere! There will be so many Bat-Signals, Batmans head will be spinning like an Owl(mans) head...Am I a comedic genius or what? Find this on the Superhero Stuff
